“Life is not about winning or losing...It's all about the participation & the experience & the lesson we learn from it.” ~Isha ManoharThis intriguing quote encouraged two students, Aarohi Bhattacherjee and Aaditri Bhattacherjee from Grades VII and V sequentially to take part in the All India RS Storytelling event. The event was hosted by Sunbeam Suncity (School & Hostel), Varanasi, on the 7th of August 2021. Aaditri recited the famous story 'The Selfish Giant' which, in Bengali folklore, is 'The Hingshute Doito'. Her recitation gained a lot of attraction and praise for she had indeed recited her composition very well. Aarohi had recited the popular Punjabi folklore, 'Dulla Bhatti - The Robin hood of Punjab'. Aarohi's recitation too gained acknowledgment and commendation. All the other performances were sublime and superlative.
This event was delightful and spectacular, for not only did it showcased the potential of the participants but also widened their compasses by listening to the other students and improving on their mistakes as well.
