Sunbeam School Annapurna, Varanasi hosted the 1st edition of
'Aspirations' on 16th & 17th July 2021, dedicated to three Visionaries of Social and Cultural Awakening:
160th Birth Commemoration of Rabindranath Tagore, 103rd Birth Commemoration of Nelson Mandela and 120th Birth Commemoration of Munshi Premchand which included:
· Multi-Format Debates Challenge
· General Quiz Challenge
· Visual Arts Challenge
· The Living Newspaper Performance Project Challenge
· Creative Writing Challenge
There were around 20 schools participating from all across India. It was a two-day event on 16- 17 July. In the competitions, children engaged themselves in various fields and tried their level best to perform in the challenges. 11 girls participated in the competition. Aaditri Bhattacharjee of Class V won the ‘Best Critic's Choice Award’ in Creative Writing.
