"SKILLSPHERE EMUN - THE WORLD REFUGEE SUMMIT"

The World Refugee Summit 2021 encompassed seven committees that highlighted and sensitized students to the trials and tribulations faced by refugees and internally displaced people all over the world. 

The conference was kick started by 4 eminent speakers, some of whom shared their personal experiences as refugees. This made it possible for students to understand the issues related to forced displacement, problems faced by women and children, and structural/cultural forms of violence such as discrimination, justification of inequality, lack of quality education and unemployment in various parts of India and abroad. 

Over 200 delegates representing over 40+ schools from nearly 22 cities across India attended the conference on 19th & 20th June 2021. Diya Rathore, Adwitiya Saxena and Manvi Gehlot participated from RKK. The event was a huge success, as the delegates signed off as more aware citizens and confident MUNners.
