STEP BY STEP SCHOOL, NOIDA (COLLABORATION)


Nine Students of RKK - Bhavi Kumbhat  of Class  XI, Sumriddhi Sharma – XII, Kumkum Chouhan -XI, Deeksha Garg - X , Khushboo Vyas – XII, Anushka Jain – X, Diya Rathore – XII, Himanshi Tanwar - IX, Sanskriti Soni – IX actively participated in the Indian Sign Language Classes organised by Step By Step School, Noida on the topic - 'Raise awareness to the best of our abilities.'

The sessions were held twice in a week (Tuesday and Friday) from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm starting from 25th May to 18th June 2021.

On the first day (25th May 2021) the students of RKK, were very enthusiastic to learn  alphabets(A-Z) and numbers(1-10) of ISL.

On the second day (28th May 2021), they learnt some words and their signs for eg- chair, I, me, difficult, etc.

On the third day (1st June 2021) words like hello, age, black, beautiful, ugly, etc. were taught .

On the fourth day of the course (4th June 2021)focus was laid on words like good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night, age, table, and days of the week.

On the fifth day of the course (8th June 2021) students  started learning some sentences like nice to meet you, etc.

On the sixth day of the course (11th June 2021) delegates  continued to learn verbs like make, grab, play, etc.

On the seventh day of the course (15th June 2021) signs  related to sports like Basketball, Volleyball, Football, etc. were learnt .

On the final and concluding eighth day of the course (18th June 2021), students revised all the signs learnt in the past seven days and some signs for  colours.

All the students were excited for this course. It was a great learning experience for all   to add a new language to their pocket.
