“The task ahead of you is never greater than the strength within you”
Confluence 2020 was organized by Singapore International School, Mumbai on 21st November 2020. A virtual daylong event, it included three major sections- Debate, Quiz and Speech Writing.
Eloquent and inspirational speeches were delivered by the Chief Guest, (Retd.) Major General Surendra Kulkarni, Director Mayo College, Ajmer and Mrs. Sharonee Mullick, Director, Singapore International School, Mumbai.
The annual event hosted by Singapore International School, Mumbai ensured a seamless immersive experience that aimed at three-fold perspective: improving power of analysis, exploring diversity and understanding linkages between the written and the spoken word. The event focused on celebrating the confluence of individual and collective energies, a meeting place of ideas and opinions.
Mansi Agarwal, Kirti Soni, Paridhi Jain participated in Incubation, the Multi-Format Debate; Shruti Rathi and Bhavi Kumbhat participated in Inquisition, the General Quiz; Jaya Sankhla and Sheetal Johari participated in Incubation, the Speech Writing Competition under the guidance of Sandhya Mudgal ma'am and Kamlesh Sir.
Around 40 schools all over India participated in this one-day event. The long hours just flitted away as the participants wholeheartedly participated with a spirit of not just attaining victory but also making their tomorrow better than today.
Kirti Soni of Class XI bagged the Best Writer Award in the Bridge Round of the Multi-Format Debate.At the end of the day, the participants emerged winners in terms of the new learnings from the event.
