Online Inter School Competition for Art Enthusiasts with Excellent Oratory Skills




As the world is fighting against the COVID-19 outbreak, many online competitions are organized by various institutions to utilize the time of the students in learning. Following this lead, Sunbeam School, Varuna(Varanasi) had also organised an national level inter-school online competition for student art enthusiasts with excellent oratory skills. In this competition students had to draw a painting on the topic Impact of Corona Outbreak-Re-engineering of the Global World Order. Participants had to portray their talent in the form of a painting/drawing on the mentioned topic and then expressing his/her piece of art by a 3 minute speech.

Representing Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur, Avantika Mishra of Class 8th made it to the top eight finalists that were qualified for the finale of the event. The final round took place on June 3rd 2020 at  4:30p.m. on the Zoom App. In the final round, the participants had to prepare a declamation for 3-minutes and present it virtually in front of the esteemed panel of judges.

The final round witnessed the oratory skills of eight participants who reached the finale. Participating students were from different esteemed institutions of India. Each participant gave his/her best foot forward to express and to be heard on the topic -Impact of Corona Outbreak-Re-engineering of the Global World Order.

Exhibiting her art work and excellent oratory skill with reimagining the world and rebuilding with changed priorities, Avantika Mishra bagged second position in this National level online Inter School Competition- The Heart That Speaks.
