WELHAM BOYS’ SCHOOL, DEHRADUN (THE IPSC SERVICE PROJECT)


With great enthusiasm, 10 boarders - Natasha Misra, Kamakshi Singh Bhati, Dhruvi Gupta, Princee Aggarwal, Paridhi Mehta, Dhruvi Garg, Rajnandini Balot, Aditi Shekhawat, Vimla Choudhary and Soumya Singh with their Teacher Escort – Mrs Rajinder Kaur embarked on a journey to Welham Boys' School, Dehradun for the IPSC Service Project, "Mohini Maitre," held from 29th September to 1st October 2024.

Day one picked off with high spirits as delegates explored the farms of Sahaspur. Their warm welcome included a refreshing drink of Kombucha. During their time on the farm, they engaged in several activities such as feeding cows, visiting the orchards, and planting marigolds followed by an interactive session on Mental Well-being led by Bhaskar Indrakanta, where everyone took part in various group activities.

The second day began with a workshop on sexual and reproductive health and rights conducted by the Bindi Association. Following the workshop, students were again divided into groups, this time to make reusable sanitary pads along with the students of the Aasra Trust. After lunch, delegates paired up to create their own solar torches, which were later donated to the students of Aasra Trust. In the evening, all participating schools showcased their talents in street theatre. RKK's presentation stood out and truly dominated the evening. The event concluded with a certificate felicitation ceremony.
