"ENAJORI: THREAD OF LOVE" AFS FOLK DANCE ONLINE COMPETITION

Students from Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School (RKKGPS), namely Akshita Rathore, Bani, Khushi Rathore, Bhakti Babani, Priyal Jain, Khanti Jain, and Manvi Rathore participated in the "Enajori: Thread of Love", AFS Folk Dance Online Competition on 25th April 2024 under the guidance of Mrs. Radhika Singh. The event was hosted by Maria Public School in Guwahati.

This prestigious event brought together schools from across the region to celebrate cultural diversity through the art of traditional dance. Our school's team delivered an outstanding performance, showcasing the Jhumur dance, a traditional folk dance from Assam. This unique performance beautifully captured the essence of a simple life, characterized by rhythmic movements and vibrant energy.

The students' exceptional choreography and lively expressions taught by School’s Dance Faculty, Mrs. Daksha Singh and Ms Yanshika Kaur captivated the audience, earning enthusiastic applause and praise from the judges. Their dedication to mastering the dance and commitment to representing our school with pride was clearly evident.

The competition provided a valuable opportunity for our students to connect with peers from other schools, exchange cultural experiences, and promote a sense of unity and understanding through the universal language of dance.
