The IT department's dean led a session on 27.3.2024 with the goal of acquainting the teachers with the Moodle platform.
An introduction to Moodle was given at the beginning of the workshop, emphasising its adaptability, user-friendly interface, and potential to completely transform the teaching and learning process. The dean of the IT department gave a demonstration of Moodle's features, which include the ability to create courses, manage content, use assessment tools, and establish communication channels.
The Pre Primary and Primary department was exposed to how to use Moodle's features and functionalities. Practical instructions on navigating and making use of Moodle were given.
The possible advantages of incorporating Moodle into the core curriculum were shared too. Queries regarding the Moodle implementation were also dealt with.
The workshop also highlighted how Moodle can be tailored to meet the needs of individual students and accommodate a variety of learning methods. The dean went into more detail on how important it is to use interactive tests, multimedia components, and group projects to build interesting learning environments in Moodle.
