On
20th March 2021, Pre-Primary and Primary Teachers attended an Online Workshop conducted by Mrs Jyotsana Brar, the founder Principal of RKK and Former Principal of Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun. It was an enriching experience for all the teachers. Ma’am gave a deep insight and enhanced understanding pertaining to varied topics as follows :
Part 1 – An introduction to understanding collaboration.
Part 2 – The role of play in childhood.
Part 3 – A good lesson in Primary School and the realistic place of Technology in Homes.
Jyotsana ma’am touched the subtopics like Good Sharing, Good Leadership, Good Communication, Good Organization, different types of play like Dramatic Play, Competitive Play, Physical Play and Constructive Play that can help to develop child’s Motor, Personal and Social Skills. Teachers also learnt how to use technology in the present day scenario with a good lesson plan. In the session, Ma’am explained the above mentioned topics by narrating simple real stories in a very impactful manner.
The session introduced the teachers to novel strategies and practices which will certainly go a long way in helping them to evolve as better and brighter teachers, beaming with confidence.
