Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur hosted their
first All India IPSC Squash Championship for Girls 2017 where there were four days from
31st August to 3rd September 2017, full of action packed matches for girls from age group under 14,17 & 19. This tournament witnessed 58 most talented players of
7 elite IPSC schools of the country, namely Delhi Public School, New Delhi, The Assam Valley School, Balipara, Assam, The Daly College, Indore, Modern School, New Delhi , The Emerald Heights International School, Indore , Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer & Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur. Their presence added colour and warmth to the tournament and school campus.
Major General A S Chouhan, GOC, Sub Area presided as the Chief Guest over the Opening Ceremony. Honourable Yuvrani Gayatri Rajye Sahiba of Jodhpur graced the Closing Ceremony as the Chief Guest. The Tournament was declared
‘Open’ by the school Principal, Mrs Neera Singh on 31st August and
‘Close’ on 3rd September 2017. Traditional dances performed by the RKKians were a visual treat to the spectators. The young players showed exceptional level of skill and left everyone spell bound with their hard hitting strokes. The spirit of true sportsmanship reverberated in the campus of RKK. Matches witnessed by Their Highnesses added grandeur & glory to the entire Tournament.
In under 14 category of individual matches the Gold Medal was bagged by Nitya Singh from Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur, Silver Medal by Chazeria Benjamin of The Emerald Heights International School, Indore & Bronze Medal was won by Harshita Jain of The Emerald Heights International School, Indore.
In under 17 category of individual matches the Gold Medal was bagged by Vedika Singhvi from Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur, Silver Medal by Arnaz Brar of Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer & Bronze Medal was won by Shanaia Paruthi of Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer.
In under 19 category of individual matches the Gold Medal was bagged by Megha Bhatia from Modern School, New Delhi, Silver Medal by Sanya Vats of Modern School, New Delhi & Bronze Medal was won by Radhika Rathore of The Daly College, Indore.
In under 14 category of team matches the Winning Trophy was bagged by The Emerald Heights International School, Indore followed by Runners Up - Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur on the 2nd position and The Daly College, Indore won the laurels of 2nd Runners Up bagging the 3rd position.
In under 17 category of team matches the Winning Trophy was bagged by Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer followed by Runners Up - Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur on the 2nd position and The Daly College, Indore won the laurels of 2nd Runners Up bagging the 3rd position.
In under 19 category of team matches the Winning Trophy was bagged by Modern School, New Delhi followed by Runners Up – Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer on the 2nd position and Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur won the laurels of 2nd Runners Up bagging the 3rd position.
Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur successfully conducted its first All India IPSC Squash Championship for Girls. Team Manager Mr Manjeet Singh and Team Coach Mr Vijay Singh Parihar handled all the matches during these three days. Mr Dhiraj Singh was the observer and Mr Bhupendra Singh was the Tournament Director. Referees of the event were Mr Vijay Singh Parihar, Mr Rajender Prasad Sharma, Mr Takhat Singh, Mr Jitender Dutta and Mr Vayktish.
