"Travel is like an endless University; you never stop learning." On 14th of May, a journey was embarked on by Class XII . The first destination was the heart of the country; Delhi where the children visited Qutub Complex, Qutub Minar, the Iron Pillar, Rajpath ,India Gate ,The Prime Minister's Office, Lotus Temple, Gandhi Samadhi, State Houses, Ministry Offices and various Embassies.
Next at Port Blair, visit to a Cultural Museum and an Aquarium enlightened the girls all the more about the History of Port Blair and Andaman's marine life. National Memorial Monument called The Cellular Jail and a Light and Sound show there, depicted the story of freedom fighters and their sufferings. The team wanted no respite from romping in the strong blue ocean waves of the Chidiya Island, the Havelock Island, Radha Nagar Beach, the Ross Island and the North Bay. Banana rides and a Water park which resonated 'Takeshi's Castle' added thrills to the trip. On the return journey to home, there was only one phrase on everyone's lips, "Take us back to Port Blair. "It's rightly said, "The world is a book, and those who do not travel, read only one page."
