In order to create lifetime memories and to explore rich cultural heritage of our country a group of 70 students of class V embarked on their exciting, funfilled and adventurous four days journey.
On reaching Keoladeo National Park students were briefed about intriguing past of this park and while walking through the woods and wetlands of the park they explored rich flora and fauna of the place. Children were simply exhilarated as they saw beautiful migratory birds at Keoladeo.
After a comfortable night stay at a hotel in Agra students visited majestic Taj Mahal. This monument of white marble is a sheer architectural genius which reflected the vision of Shah Jahan beautifully.
On their way to Delhi students visited Fatehpur Sikri Fort in Fatehpur that left an unerasable imprint on the minds of the students. They were totally amazed to see the huge collection of dolls at Dolls Museum New Delhi which has 6000 dolls on display from 85 different countries.
Visit to places like Red Fort, Humanyun’s Tomb, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Qutub Minar filled the students with the knowledge of our rich history. At Kidzania the students were introduced to different kinds of professions.
The excursion proved to be a source of immense experiential learning.
