Tapur Mishra, Padmaja Singh Rao, Vanshika Singh, Pari Salecha, Rudrakshi Vyas, Priyamwada Singh Rathore with the Student Leader - Minakshi Soni had the privilege of attending the RS Zoom Postcard hosted by GEMS New Millennium School. The theme, "Global Connectivity: Building Bridges for a Sustainable Future" resonated deeply with the current challenges our world faces. The 90- minute call brought together students and educators, all united by the goal of fostering global awareness and sustainability.
The call kicked off with an inspiring keynote speech by the host and the Principal of GEMS New Millennium School, who emphasized the importance of connectivity in today’s world. They highlighted how technology can bridge gaps between cultures, fostering collaboration on sustainability initiatives.
Following the keynote, attendees were divided in various rooms. Interactive discussions encouraged the participants to brainstorm innovative ideas for using technology to tackle pressing environmental problems. Delegates discussed projects like virtual clean-up campaigns and apps for tracking carbon footprints, which sparked lively discussions among participants.
One of the highlights of the event was the student presentations. Students from different schools showcased their projects related to sustainability, such as recycling initiatives and renewable energy solutions.
Attending the RS Zoom Postcard call was an eye-opening experience. It reinforced the belief that global connectivity is essential in addressing the challenges of sustainability.
