The Shri Ram School, Aravali, Gurugram hosted a successful video conference on Zero Food Wastage on 9th August 2024 on Zoom. It was a project by Round Square bringing schools from around the world to share their initiatives and strategies for promoting Zero Food Waste. The conference aimed to inspire and educate students on the importance of reducing food waste and showcasing innovative approaches to achieve this goal. Students from the host school moderated an interactive session, inviting participants from other schools to share their experiences.
Kyara Vyas, Rhythm Sharma and Aarini Bachhawat of Class V were the proud presenters from RKK with their Teacher Incharges – Ms Aashna Jain, Ms Madhu Malini Bohra, Ms Nikita Sharma & Ms Drishti Barath. They elaborated the various initiatives taken by RKK for the same. The discussion was lively and insightful with students asking thoughtful questions. The Round Square video conferencing was a resounding success, demonstrating the power of global collaboration and student-led innovation in addressing the critical issue of food waste. By sharing their ideas and best practices, participating schools inspired and motivated each other to continue working towards a more sustainable future.
