NEWCASTLE GRAMMAR SCHOOL, AUSTRALIA (ROUND SQUARE ZOOM POSTCARD)

In a world increasingly filled with noise, a Postcard Call on the theme of “Unmuting our voices for the future" hosted by Newcastle Grammar School, Australia on 22nd May 2024 invited RKK's team comprising - Aditi Jain, Chelsi Singhal, Navya Jain, Rinku, Jhalak Taparia, Aayushree Deora with Student Leader - Zunubiya Khan. This call delved into the importance of raising our voices to shape a better tomorrow, emphasizing the collective strength found in shared stories, ideas, and actions. "Unmuting Our Voices" in the Barazza sessions highlighted the need for inclusivity and representation, ensuring that every voice, regardless of background or circumstance, is heard and valued. It speaks to the courage required to speak up against injustice, advocate for change, and inspire others to do the same. Keynote speaker spoke that our future depends on the diversity of perspectives and it is through unmuted voices that innovation and progress flourish.

This theme encouraged students to break the silence on critical issues such as climate change, social equity and human rights. It underscored the power of dialogue and the importance of active participation in our communities and beyond.

Finally every one agreed that by unmuting our voices, we contribute to a more just and equitable world, where the future is shaped by the aspirations and dreams of all.

The host reminded the participants that unmuting our voices is not just an act of expression but a commitment to building a world where everyone has the opportunity to be heard and to make a difference. As we move forward, let this theme inspire us to listen actively, speak courageously, and work together to ensure that our voices contribute to a future where equity, justice, and opportunity are available to all.
