INDIAN HIGH SCHOOL IN UAE (ROUND SQUARE ZOOM POSTCARD)

On 29th May 2024, The Indian High School, Dubai, hosted an engaging Zoom Postcard meet titled, “Let’s Create a New Chapter: Don’t Stereotype Me,” focusing on challenging and breaking gender stereotypes. The event provided a platform for students to discuss and reflect on the pervasive issue of gender stereotyping, encouraging a culture of equality and respect. As part of the pre-work, participants were asked to create digital postcards that creatively expressed their views on gender stereotypes, highlighting the importance of individuality and rejecting societal norms that confine people based on their gender. This collaborative and thought-provoking session aimed to foster a more inclusive mindset among the students. It was a wonderful experience and exposure and a great way to connect to people all over the globe. Virika Mehta led the team consisting of Prachi Jain, Hasmita Jain, Suhani Lodha, Suhneri Birla, Niharika Champawat & Eshal Bindra.
