“The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to change one thought over another”On 20 March 2024, a team comprising 7 students –
Nivedita Vashistha, Mahima Singh, Purvi Jain, Gayatri Rathore, Demira Bhati, Ekta Nahata and their incharge Surbhi Udawat attended a RS Zoom Postcard hosted by St. Andrew’s School for Girls in South Africa. The 90 minute call started at 6:30p.m. IST on the theme being ‘Coping With Stress’. The session started with a well thought fun presentation shown by the host school which was made with memes to highlight the relevance of de-stress. All the participants were their divided into their breakout rooms. This was followed by a series of ice-breaking questions to bring the students at ease in speaking up their points. There were questions such as ‘Is stress useful?’, ‘Does meditation help in relieving stress? ‘How does nature act as a natural healer to stress?’. The RKKian actively engaged themselves through the discussion, sharing ideas and learning from other’s point of view. Overall, it was an enriching experience which helped the students build their confidence and realize the importance of knowing oneself better.
