“Mental health is not a destination , but a process .
It’s about how you drive , not where you’re going” On
31st January 2024, 6 students comprising – Angel Semlani, Mahimaba Sarwaiya, Vidushi Digga, Trisha Talesara, Purvi Jain, Jayani Singh Tomar with their Student Leader Surbhi Udawat participated in the RS Postcard hosted by Palmer Trinity School on the theme, how schools should promote mental well being ?" A brief on the theme was given as soon as the call commenced . It started on a fruitful note with a presentation displayed by the host school. Next, students were divided into different breakout rooms . Questions were asked from each participant such as , how does your school support mental well being? Why was mental health important during the COVID 19 pandemic ? RKKians actively participated in discussions and were able to relate to the theme as RKK has conducted and participated from time to time in many mental health programmes to raise awareness about its importance among the students. School has always encouraged physical activities such as Yoga, Zumba , Self Defence, Meditation etc and has fostered a positive environment for open communication among all . It was a very encouraging and innovative conference to work towards a better tomorrow and how small initiatives can make huge differences.
