Students of Class 6 participated in Round Square Postcard Call hosted by Woodridge College and Preparatory School, South Africa on 4th October, following the theme
“Democracy Everywhere: School, Families, and Friendships.” The 60-minute call took place at 6:30 pm IST, with many renowned schools from all over the world participating in it. The session began with an educator from the host school talking about Democracy and how it is all around everyone. The children were assigned to breakout rooms three times and each breakout session held discussions on the importance of Democracy within various aspects of their life, like in school, within their families and friendships. Students received this great opportunity to have their voices heard on an international platform. It was an eye opening experience for all of them to exchange their thoughts and opinions on the given topic with students from all over the world.
