RKK’s six participants -
Sanskriti Soni, Iram Khan, Vaniya Solanki, Piya Salecha, Divya Budhwani, Pari Salecha along with their Incharge Suhani Baheti participated in the RS Welham Girls' Postcard Call which was a 90 minutes held from 3:30 pm to 5 pm in the evening on 9th August 2023. The call was attended by 95 participants from 17 schools of 4 countries (Australia, India, Kenya, and South Africa) with the theme of the call being 'Redefining Power'. Delegates from Rajamata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School made a beautiful pre-work for the call, like splendid postcards on power or democracy and verbose speeches. The call started with ‘What is Power?’ ‘What inspired to take up this topic ?’ Questions and assertions broadened their horizons. Delegates were they allotted Barraza rooms, where we were given prompts and one leader was made to make a working paper of the minutes of the meeting for the Barraza room. The call ended with great intellectual decisions on how children actually redefine power.
The meeting ended and it was really amazing, the exposure they got and the chance to express their views meant a lot to them.
