Team RKK comprising Adult Incharge,
Lavanya Singh Deora and six participants, Aadya Deedwania, Aagya Jain, Advika Goyal, Saanvi Agarwal, Unnati Singh and Vaanya Mehta, under the guidance and mentorship of Ma’am Sapna Gupta, participated in the RS Postcard Call organized by
Woodridge College and Preparatory School, South Africa on 12th July 2023. The topic shared with them was unique and very interesting, “All about me, shared with you”. Our first meeting was conducted on 23rd June where the student incharge enlightened the participants about RS Postcard Calls and solved our queries. We discussed and deliberated about the topic. We were allocated a task to create a document thereby expressing our views on the given topic. Thereafter, all the team members carried out the research and shared their views with the team. The next meeting was held on 3rd July, wherein each other’s views were discussed and then everyone delivered their speech. During the last meeting on 9th July final Postcard was presented and the speeches were rehearsed. On 12th July the Postcard Call took place. Woodridge College and Preparatory School, South Africa invited us to join the call. After short welcome, we were sent to separate Break-out rooms and talked about our likes and dislikes, hobbies, interests, food we love, about our country and state etc. Then we returned to the main meeting and were again sent to Break-out rooms. Here we discussed more about our hobbies and interests, sports we like, weather in our country etc. Finally, the host expressed the gratitude towards all for participating and making the call a success.
