FIRST STEPS SCHOOL OF ARTS & SCIENCES, PAKISTAN (RS ZOOM POSTCARD)

Round Square Postcard Call on the topic, ‘Social Media Manipulation’ was organised by First Steps School of Arts and Science in Pakistan on 14th of December, 2022 at 1:30pm. Jinal Manihar,Achal Roop Kaur, Vanshika Bajaj, Neelakshi Inda, Kimaya Parihar, Riya Sharma and Adult Student Incharge  Shreya Maloo from RKK availed this opportunity by knowing about the pros and cons of Social media. Many national and international member schools participated in this event which started with the introduction of the host school and the hosts. Immeditly after delegates were divided into baraza sessions to discuss  about the the questions which they were already told to prepare. These were, "Have you ever faced or known someone who has faced cyber bullying?” “Why do we choose to cancel a person?” “Do you slave to trends on Social Media?" and "What is the role of the media in manipulating your social opinion?”. Everyone had a friendly debate over these questions. After tht we discussion on Cancel Culture, its effects and the use of social media platform which which you use the most etc.
