20th of November 2021, a wonderful programme was organised by
SAI International School, India and Junior & Senior High School of Kogakuin University, Japan on the occasion of
International Youth Day with the theme being, ‘Global Conversation on Feminism.’ Participants were Maanya Mehta, Bhavya Mohnot, Vedika Chouhan, Kumkum Chouhan, Mumal Deora, Anika Karnawat, Bhavi Kumbhat, Veenushri Punglia, Khushi Panwar, Katha Kabra, Drishti Dholwani, Vidisha Bindal with their Teacher Incharge, Ms Awanesh Sharma.
The event started with Ms. Catherine Nakabugo, dynamic Keynote Speaker of the event who spoke about the importance of feminism in detail. This was followed by Barazza sessions in which the effect, impact and true meaning of feminism was discussed. Overview of each Barazza session was given and the main takeaways from the conference were discussed in the Closing Ceremony, leaving the audience enriched and enthralled.
