“Women In Sport” was organized by St Andrew’s School for girls on
October 27, 2021. It was a great pleasure to attend this enjoyable conference which started with a little interaction by the host school team. Five students of
RKK - Hamisha Udhani, Vidisha Bindal, Ditya Lohiya, Khwayshi Parihar and Bhavi Kumbhat under the splendid guidance of Teacher Incharge, Mr. Praveen Singh attended the event. Mrs Sapna Gupta was the overall coordinator of the event. Students from diverse parts of the world attended this event with an invincible passion. In advance of the call, the hosts asked all participants to read the following articles to prepare for engaging conversations regarding women’s participation in professional games :

Although the topic of gender inequality in sports have received more attention than ever before, there are still many stigmatized aspects that are not being confronted. Everyone in their respective room presented their views about the topics. Students were divided into different breakout rooms .After having a fruitful discussion, all moved back to the main meeting to share their response with everyone. This interesting and knowledgeable conference ended extremely well by discussing impressive information about the importance of women in sports and keeping everyone in thoughts about the need for gender equality.
