A Symposium based on
‘Economics without ethics is a caricature’ was organised by
The Shri Ram School Aravali on
12th October 2021. It was based on IDEALS of Adventure, Environmentalism, Service, Discoveries, Communication skills, Tenacity, Ability to Solve Problems, Teamwork Skills and Commitment to Sustainability Learning Focus.
Students were engaged in meaningful debate on ethical social entrepreneurship and were asked to share their vision about an environment friendly futuristic world.
RKK’s delegates - Gauri Baxi, Anika Karnawat, Kumkum Chauhan, Veenushri Pungalia, Vidisha Bindal and Parul Birla with their Teacher Incharge Ms Neetu Kheechee participated in this event.
It gave a sheer chance to students to delve upon the way they wish to approach social problems and create awareness in their own region or the world community. This event gave an ample opportunity to students to inculcate the habit to develop an understanding of the functioning of the stock market through a simple and engaging activity-based mock stock session. Through the session they were able to relate shortcomings, unethical behaviours and compromises related to Economics.
Students actively participated in this event via Barazza session , Poster making event and Advertisement making related to social impact. In nutshell it was a fruitful session giving students insight into Modern Economics concepts.
