LAKEFIELD COLLEGE SCHOOL, CANADA (RS ZOOM POSTCARD)

On the evening of 12th May 2021, four students from grade XI namely Gauri Baxi, Hemangini Bhati, Kumkum Chouhan and Mumal Deora with Sapna Gupta participated in a Round Square Postcard Call hosted by Lakefield College School, Canada.

The theme of the event was related to the 12 Round Square Discoveries which are: Compassion, Courage, Self-awareness, Inquisitiveness, Inventiveness, Tenacity, Sense of Responsibility, Communication Skills, Teamwork Skills, Appreciation for Diversity, Ability to Solve Problems and Commitment to Sustainability.

Each participant was asked to speak about a weakness and strength from the given discoveries and everyone spoke wonderfully. The conference enriched the participants with a sense of understanding for themselves and others and showed them that physical barriers do not limit people from communicating and virtual platforms can also instill a sense of community.
