On 28th April 2021, RS Postcard of 60 minutes was organized by Stiftung Louisenlund in Germany on the topic
'Antisemitism in Modern Germany'. A delegation of 4 students -
Kirti Singh Bhati, Zaina, Deeksha Garg and Khushboo Vyas from Classes IX to XII with Teacher Incharge, Swati Chouhan took part in this wonderful Postcard call.
In the beginning, the students of the host school threw some light on the topic and explained what Holocaust and Antisemitism is and shared some latest incidences too. Later the students were requested to join their respective breakout rooms where they discussed about the presentation and had question and answer round. The host participants also talked about how Antisemitism is practiced in Germany. Later delegates went back to the main room and everyone talked about their breakout room experiences. Once again all delegates were sent to their breakout rooms to discuss the topic and focused on the solutions they could take to stop the discrimination. Students even talked about problems in their respective countries and also offered solutions to them. After 10 minutes, delegates were sent back to the main room and again everyone shared their experience and what they discussed in breakout rooms. Every participant enjoyed the hour long session. This call brought together 110 students from 29 schools in 14 countries all over the world.
Students got to learn so many new things. Overall it was a very amazing, interesting and interactive experience.
