COLEGIO LOS NOGALES, COLUMBIA (RS POSTCARD ZOOM CALL)

Six students Suhani Baheti, Deeksha Garg, Kirti Bhati , Ishita Ghandi, Honey Singhvi, Pranjal Soni with their Escort Teacher Ms Subhita Jakhar  from Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School participated in the Postcard Call from the host school Colegio Los Nogales, Columbia. The Postcard took place on the 14th April 2021 at 7:30pm for 60 minutes. The theme of the call was “Debunking Stereotypes”. In the call, the participants discussed about myths regarding different stereotypes present in our country and what is being done to manage or break these stereotypes.  

 

There were about 80 students from all over the world in the call.  The participants were asked to see A TED Talk, “The Dangers of a Single Story” before joining the call for a better discourse and to make masks about these myths that exist. Overall it was a very interesting, interactive experience, great exposure and an amazing activity for knowing about different misconceptions that exist in different countries and how relevant they are.
