The Postcard Call conducted by Palmer Trinity School, USA on
27th January 2021 was a successful and enriching event on the theme Folklore and legends. Four students -
Suhani Baheti, Suhani Singhvi, Suhana Sancheti and Rani Patawari from Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur zestfully participated in this virtual event with many other schools like Singapore International School, St. Mary Colchester, Sunbeam School, GEMS Dubai etc. It was from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
The call started with the folklores & legends from the host country including - Lake Monsters, Nandi Bears, Thylacine, Waheela etc. Next the host students presented their screens and showed pictures and postcards of the legends and folklores from their respective regions. All the students beautifully presented their pictures and phenomenally explained the same. All the participants were then allocated respective breakout-rooms for a better but brief discourse about folklores. The host of the breakout room asked some quick-questions on the significance of the fables in the world. With this, the Postcard Call ended keeping the delegates in deep thoughts about thriller fables and morals learnt from them.
