Six students of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School attended the Round Square Postcard Call organised by
St. Mary's School, Colchester , UK on the
theme - ‘No land is Island’ at 9 pm on
9th December. Students from different parts of the world attended this event with an unbeatable zeal . The eligibility of the Postcard Call was 13-15 years. Suhani Baheti , Jaya Sankhla, Gauri Baxi, Mumal Deora, Swati Punjabi and Aastha Vyas of Class X participated in this interactive session . The topics to post about and discuss in the Postcard Call were -'Any environmental issue which your country faces and preventions which your country has taken for the same' and 'Something about the natural world in your country like plants, places or animals.' It felt like an adventure exploring the natural world. Many thrills and threats of the natural world were shared by the participants with each other.
At first there was a creative and informative Quiz about the natural world in the United Kingdom followed by different breakout rooms where there was a very brief but thorough discussion about the topics and the Postcards which were made by the students. The event ended extremely well, keeping everyone in thoughts about the environmental issues and preventions that should be provided to the world.
