30th August to 1st September 2018.The journey commenced with sheer zeal and a tinch of ambiguity. 30 schools from all over the nation convened at Welham Boys’School, Dehradun. Delegates were allotted Committees like UNSC, UNHRC, SPECPOL, NATO, DISEC, Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and CTC. The Opening Ceremony was marked by the presence of former Ambassador, Anil Trigunayat who inculcated in the participants an attitude to perceive the MUNers as global leaders rather than mere delegates. As the 3 days of concatenation of events were coming to an end, the students were successful in their efforts to think and propose solutions to complex global issues. Col. DPK Pillai, Chief Guest of the Closing Ceremony, through his speech motivated each one to learn, think and work as global citizens throughout their lives.
