MUN is not just about debate, it's a simulation of global diplomacy where tomorrow's leaders hone their skills in negotiation, compromise, and understanding. On 7th August 2024, six students -
Adwitiya Saxena, Subhadra Kumari, Naavya Rathi, Akshi Singhvi, Aarohi Bhattacherjee, Demira Bhati with Teacher Escort & Trainer - Jyoti Ratan Singh left the portals of RKK to enter into the arena of the Model United Nations organized by Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun from 8th to 10th August 2024 on the theme ‘One Sky, One Humanity and One World’. The MUN witnessed seven committees across various agendas covering a wide range of current issues in the world and 27 schools from across the globe including schools from Oman. Where words were not mere rhetoric but were the building blocks of peace, understanding, and progress. The Lok Sabha Committee deliberated to find solutions for two present issues i.e. the Role and Impact of Article 356 in the Context of Federalism in India and Analysing the implications and Feasibility of implementing a Uniform Civil Code in India, UNHSC discussed the Arab-Israeli Conflict - Securing Stability for the Future, the Interpol debated dismantling the Global Hydra of Organized Crime, the DISEC navigated the Ever-Evolving Labyrinth of Modern Weapons.
The team put in every effort to make that participation a success.
