The 2nd Edition of The Dais Global Voices Model UN 2023 (Virtually) was organized by the Learning Planet Institute and UNESCO on
27th & 28th January 2023. The Theme of the Conference was
‘From Citizenship of Planetizenship’ it comprised six following Committees: UNGA, UNICEF, WHO, ITU, UNESCO & IPC.
The participants from
RKKGPS were Diksha Rajpurohit – Delegate of Germany (UNGA), Padamshri Deora – Delegate of UAE (ITU), Ishita Rathore – Delegate of Japan (ITU), Disha Balar- Delegate of Philippines (UNICEF), Rana Sakshiba – Delegate of Pakistan (WHO), Aditi Shekhawat – Delegate of Iran (UNGA), Paridhi Mehta – Delegate of Qatar (WHO) with their Teacher Incharge, Ms Jyoti Ratan Singh.The first day of the conference started with the Keynote Speaker’s address and insight on the importance of MUN’s and the problems the world is facing today. The delegates were then divided in the committee breakout rooms and they had two sessions.
The second day kick-started with all delegates geared up to put forward their country’s perspective. The delegates in all committees had fruitful debates and discussion and worked towards the draft resolution, which all the committees successfully passed.
The participants incorporated within themselves the art of Diplomacy, Leadership and enhanced their Speaking Skills. Padamshri Deora of Class XI won the laurels of 'High Commendation' in 2nd Edition of The Dais Global Voices Model UN 2023.
