October 6th organized by Amity Educational Resource Centre - Amity Group of Schools. Participants from RKK were Hamisha Sunny Udhani, Stuti Arya, Akshi Singhvi, Meher Gupta, Disha Soni and Hasmita Jain with their Teacher Incharge Ms Sanjana Chouhan. The Chief Guest for the main event was Mr. Joonas Kontla, Member of Finland Parliament. This event was divided into six committees - UN Security Council, DISEC of United Nations General Assembly, World Health Organization, UNDP, UN Women and Lok Sabha. The committee sessions were conducted for consecutive three days with discussions and speeches on topics allotted prior to them.
A workshop conducted few days before the final day proved to be a success in guiding young, innovative minds. With tips, suggestions and guidelines for the session, the teachers proved to be amazing mentors in guiding the students.
After long discussions, negotiations and debates, the committees finally drafted and passed the resolution on the final day i.e., October 8, 2021. The Closing Ceremony was the evening of learning, dance, music and fun. Along with beautiful cultural fest, the most promising participants were given away prizes. Akshi Singhvi, who held the portfolio of Vijay Kumar Hansdakh was awarded with ‘The Best Debutante’. The three-days’ long committee sessions were indeed a great learning and astonishing experience.
