Nine enthusiastic and keen students from RKKGPS, Jodhpur, participated in
SNAMUN hosted by
The Lawrence School, Sanawar from
16th to 18th August 2021. Himanshi Tanwar, Khushboo Vyas, Sanskriti Soni, Doyal Khandelwal, Bhavi Khumbhat, Sumriddhi Sharma, Diya Rathore, Riya Sharma, Bhoomi Rathi with their Teacher Incharge, Ms Sanjana Chouhan.
Various schools from all over India sent their delegates to participate in this event. The delegates were involved in discussing various international issues and played important role as world leaders.
It was a great achievement of receiving Verbal Mention by Himanshi Tanwar in the Committee UNDP.The Opening Ceremony was held on 16th August. The Chief Guest Hon’ble Lt. General Kamal Devar influenced the students with his impressive speech. Thereafter, the conferences started in all the committees which were very interactive and solution oriented. Entertainment sessions were also conducted to cheer up the delegates who were busy in heated debates throughout the conference. The Closing Ceremony was held on 18th August with the dynamic speech of Hon’ble Shri Om Birla, Speaker of Lok Sabha. All the students were exhilarated to be a part of this event.
