A team of twelve girls from RKK participated enthusiastically in the Silver Jubilee Commemorative
Young Thinker’s Conclave at Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer from
23rd to 26th August 2018. Following competitions were held in the Conclave.
· Multi format English Debate
· Hindi Debate
· English Script Writing
· Brochure Making
· Script Enactment
· Multi Media Movie Making
· Website Designing
· General Quiz
26 teams from various prestigious schools of the country participated in the competitions. The students gained a lot of experience through the brain storming debating sessions. The Script Writing, Brochure Making and Script Enactment sessions were very interactive and helped to enhance their Creative Writing and Theatre Skills. The Movie / Video and Website Designing teams exchanged their views over the theme provided. The students were exposed to the Classical Quizzing and Theatre - the two very important aspects of Public Speaking. The Conclave enriched and updated the students about the contemporary world and kindled their inquisitive young minds.
Rajesvi Deora bagged the award for being the ‘Best Speaker (Extempore)’ in the Preliminary Round of the Multi format English Debate.
