2nd May 2018, Nishi Jain, Divija Sharma, Lipakshi Chhawry and Escort Teacher Ms Rekha Desai left the premises of RKK, Jodhpur for Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, who had hosted the
28th Col Frank Von Goldstein Memorial Debate from
3rd to 5th May 2018, which was initiated in 1989 in the honour of Col Frank Von Goldstein (Former Headmaster and iconic figure of the school). The debate was held in a modified parliamentary/Cambridge form and was judged by a panel of eminent Judges in the Preliminary, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final Rounds. The RKK team grabbed the 2nd Position among the thirteen schools. It was a tough competition as every school had given its best to be in the top three. The finals were held between Army Public School, Ambala and Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur .The topic was ‘Legalising Euthanasia is a Humanitarian Gesture’. The hard liner which was for the third position was between Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh and Sat Paul Mittal, Ludhiana. The topic for them was ‘Reservations creates unequal Societies’. The trainers, Ms Rekha Desai and Mrs Heena Rupani deserve high appreciation and applause for putting their heart and soul in training the students.
