MAYO COLLEGE GIBSON DEBATE AND QUIZ – 2016

The 22nd Padmashree JTM Gibson Quiz and Debates were held at Mayo College, Ajmer from 29th September to 1st October 2016. A team of 6 students Shivambika Bhati, Tanushree Rajpurohit, Karishma Maheshwari, Avnika Baid, Ishita Kichar and Nishtha Laddha alongwith Mrs. Jaskirat Sekhon as their escort teacher represented RKK. There were 12 teams in all from various schools in the Quiz. RKKGPS secured the 3rd Position.

Modified Asian Parliamentary Debating Format was followed for Gibson Debates. Shivambika Bhati bagged the “Best Speaker” award in the Preliminary Round. Other highlights included an inspiring session with Dr. San Petroda and debating tips given by the chief guest Mr. Verma to the young debators. It was a great learning experience indeed !!
