BATTLE OF WITS

Rajmata Gayatri Devi Memorial Annual Inter School English Debate Competition was conducted at Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' School, Jaipur on 29th July 2016. Two students, Padmini Yadav and Karishma Maheshwari  participated with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm along with participants from 16 other schools. This heated debating session comprised an extempore round in which participant had to speak for a minute on the topic given just one minute prior. The final round was a battle of wits to speak for and against the topic, “Poetry should be removed from the curriculum.” The students had a tremendous knowledgeable exposure and a great learning experience.
