In order to bring out the scientific temperament in students and to develop an aptitude of scientific inquiry that will help them to face unprecedented problems in life, a virtual event was organised by
The Shri Ram School, Aravali (Junior) on
28th February 2022, the
India’s National Science Day 2022.
Aaditri Bhatacherjee, Lavanya Singh Deora and Aadya Deedwania participated from RKK with their Teacher- Incharge Mrs Suman Rathore and were successful in displaying a laudable presentation.
The event was divided into two sessions. Session - I began with a wonderful and energetic keynote speech by Dr. Dhriti Banerjee (Director, Zoological Survey of India). The Keynote Speaker explained the relationship between environment and human beings with the help of her wonderful presentation followed by Question and Answer round. An inspiration for all the participants, she answered their queries with a lot of patience and calmness. She made them understand that the climate change is a silent pandemic. Everyone must do his or her bit to save the environment.
After this energetic session, delegates entered into their Barazza session breakout rooms with their teachers and had a lot of fun activities. To break the ice, they first introduced themselves. A small break was given and then Session II started which began with presentation from different schools such as The British School, Him Academy, Emerald Heights International School, Indore and Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School Jodhpur etc. Topics taken by them were Food Adulteration, Solar Car, Rainwater Harvesting, Good Bacteria, Bad Bacteria and many more...
Projects taken by schools were innovative and gave the representatives from different schools a food for thought. RKK’s presentation was on ‘Food Adulteration’. To investigate it three experiments in lab were done, the results were noted down and presented in different forms.
