THE DOON SCHOOL, DEHRADUN (VIRTUAL SYMPOSIUM)

On 25th February 2022, a team of five students comprising Surbhi Udawat, Zeal Gogar, Minakshi Soni, Aarushi Malu and Hamisha Udhani with their Teacher Incharge Mrs Kavita Sharma participated in the Virtual Symposium  organised by The Doon School, Dehradun on the theme, 'Sustainability – Envisioning a Thriving Global Community.'  The event started by the Keynote Speaker sharing his thoughts about sustainability. This was followed by the two Barraza sessions in which there was fiery discussion about sustainability goals. In between the two sessions, there was a student-led panel discussion on 'The importance of sustainability in today's rapidly changing society'. Finally, there was a resolution statement by one student from each barazza room. It was a wonderful session that enhanced knowledge of the participants. Overall, the event was very informative. The participants implied their imagination and creativity to the fullest.
