5TH EDITION OF SUNBEAM LAHARTARA CRITICAL THINKING ROUND TABLE

On 2nd to 4th February 2022, the Fifth Edition of the Critical Thinking Round Table was hosted by Sunbeam School, Lahartara. The event witnessed participation from over 50 schools from all over the Indian Peninsula and had the participation of over 200 students.

There was a total of 8 events which were : Multi Format English Debates, General Quiz, Creative Writing, Shakespeareana: English Experimental Short Radio Play Enactment, Imagescape: A Visual Art Exploration, Multi-Disciplinary Kinetic Art Installation Competition, Telling The Tale : A Storytelling Journey, Sensorium: Museum of Material and Tactile Senses Challenge. Sixteen RKKians - Amishi Shukla, Hemangini Bhati, Hiya Dave, Kamakshi Soni, Kimaya Parihar, Jhanvi Khatri, Preksha Purohit, Akshata Acharya, Anvi Mehta, Kirti Kanwar Bhati, Kanishka Godara, Lauren, Naavya Rathi, Pankhuri Sharma, Manasvi Salecha and Mumal Deora with their Teacher Incharges – Ms Niharika Banerjee, Ms Asha Vikas Bajpai, Mr Kamlesh Kumar, Mrs Reshma Bhattacherjee, Mr Yatheesh Kasargod, Mr Manoj Kumar Sandha and Mrs Manju Singh  participated with the best of their capabilities.

Three teams of RKK won awards in a sea of other participating schools -  

 
Team - Imagescape : A Visual Art Exploration bagged the  2nd Position.

Team - Shakespearana : English Experimental Short Radio Play Enactment won the ‘Critics Choice Award’.

Team - Multi-Disciplinary Kinetic Art Installation won the 3rd Prize.
