LADY ANUSUIYA SINGHANIA MEMORIAL ALL INDIA HINDI DEBATE & ENGLISH DEBATE


“Winners are not people who never fail but people who never quit.”

An Inter-School Hindi & English Debate Competition was hosted by L K Singhania Education Centre, Gotan on 23rd & 24th October 2021. The competition was organised on Zoom platform. The debate was conducted in two levels; 1st level was Selection Round and 2nd level was Final Round. Teams from all over the country participated in the event wherein eight best teams qualified for the second round.  

In the first level, the students were supposed to send a video of their debate. Entries were sent for judging on the 24th of September.

RKK was proudly represented in Hindi Debate by Jaya Sankhla and Divya Vishnoi. They were trained by Mrs Leela Purohit and Ms Reena Mishra. English Debate was represented by Stuti Arya & Vrinda Dubey trained by Mrs Sandhya Mudgal.

The results were out on the 30th of September with 8 schools going to the final round. These schools were :

-       Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani

-       LK Singhania Education Centre, Gotan

-       Mayo College Girls' School, Ajmer

-       Maharana Mewar Public School, Udaipur

-       Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School, Jaipur

-       Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur and

-       Sir Padampat Singhania Education Centre, Kanpur.

Students from different schools all over India were absolutely excited with their entry for the prestigious Lady Anusuiya Singhania Memorial All India English and Hindi Final Debates.

The final round was conducted online on October 24th with 2 students from each school speaking For and Against the motion. The event started with the Chief Guest, Dr Jagpreet Singh inspiring the young orators with his words of influence. The debaters put forward their arguments confidently on the given motion.

After the debaters, the judges took over the floor and highlighted some key points to remember which would help the participants in future. 

The oratory skill of all the participants left the panel of judges and guests spell bound. Principal of the school, Mr. R.C Joshi welcomed all the participants. As the motion of the debates were very  thought provoking, all the participants were well prepared in presenting their opinions. Participants spoke logically in a coherent manner. Their eloquent speeches won much applause from the audience. Debaters were civil, clear, effortless and up to the mark in their speech. The judges who adorned the programme were highly distinguished personalities from the field of education. They praised all the participants and wished them good luck in future. The programme ended with a grand success and was appreciated by one and all.

The first prize went jointly to Sir Padampat Singhania Education Centre, Gotan and Mayo College Girls' School, Ajmer. It was definitely a learning experience, which would go a long way in enhancement of confidence and speaking skills in students.
