THE ASSAM VALLEY SCHOOL, BALIPARA, ASSAM (INTERNATIONAL BAMBOO FESTIVAL 2021)

“The bamboo that bends is stronger than the oak that resists.”

In order to celebrate the World Bamboo Day on 18th September 2021, The Assam Valley School, South Asian Bamboo Foundation in association with National Institute of Design organised “International Photography and Strip Comic Competitions.” Budding photographers and creative artists of RKK - Amul Vader , Aarushi Malu, Sneha Singh Nathawat , Aditi Sharma, Chhavi Jaju, Hamisha Sunny Udhani, Shreya Maloo , Pradnya Trivedi, Sanvi Soni, Gunraj Singh Chouhan and Himakshi Parashar participated and submitted their masterpieces. The result announcement was proceeded by an enlightening and insightful orientation by renowned personalities on Bamboo and its importance. The symphonic bamboo music was a feast to the participants. Bamtech app was also inaugurated. Chhavi Jaju   bagged 1st Runner Up Position and Aditi Sharma won Jury Special Mention.
