“The earth does not belong to us, we belong to earth”.
The earth has been damaged due to the actions of human beings. We all are surrounded with rivers that are dirty, air that is unhealthy, and an environment that needs to be restored. Our deteriorating environment requires our attention and is it high time to devote ourselves to its care.
In order to create a platform for environmental issues and spark young minds towards responsible citizenship,
Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar organized Online Vasudha-The Earth Fest on 28th April 2021. The fourth edition of this competition consisted of English and Hindi Elocution, Western or Indian Solo Singing Competition and Miniature Garden Making Competition.
The participants of this competition were: Sanghmitra Maheshwari for English Elocution, Avantika Mishra for Hindi elocution, Nikita Vijayan for Western Solo Singing and Prachi Jain for Miniature Garden Making Competition. The event was held virtually and the participants were required to send a video of their final performances. The theme of elocution was nature and that of solo singing was environment.
This competition gave us an opportunity to broaden our horizons and filled us with confidence that would definitely help the participants in future!
