A group of RKK 8 students namely Vasvi Gupta, Nishi Jain, Aastha Sancheti, Siddhika Didel, Mugdha Raje Ashiya, Shambhavi Shekhar, Mitanshi Maheshwari and Kanika Sharma with escort teacher, Mrs Perminder Meena were fortunate to avail the opportunity of representing the school at
Confluence 2018 held at
Singapore International School, Mumbai on
6th & 7th September 2018.Twenty reputed school from all over the country competed in the Confluence 2018. To name of few - Sunbeam School, Varanasi, The Emerald Heights International School Indore, Maria Public School Guwahati, Indian School Delhi, Dhirubhai Ambani School Mumbai, Mayo College Girls’School, Ajmer etc.
Aastha Sancheti & Siddhika Didel were all set to represent in ‘Inertia’. Mitanshi Maheshwari, Shambhavi Shekhar and Mugdha Raje Ashiya were the active debaters. Kanika Singh Nishi Jain Vasvi Gupta competed in ‘Inquisition’ - the Quiz Competition Aastha & Kanika were active participants of ‘Incubation’ - Creative writing in Junior category while Nishi & Vasvi in the Senior category.
Siddhika Didel took part in the Junior category of ‘Innuedo’ - Craft a Poem Competition while Mugdha competed in the Senior category. The highlight of the Ceremony was the speech by Mr Pranav Mukherjee - Moderator of the debates. The Quiz and Debates evoked the inquisitiveness in the minds of the participants. The art and power of innovative ideas through writing was promptly put to test in Creative Writing Competition. This Confluence exposed the students to many thought provoking topics like ‘Jingoism is Male’, ‘The new Chess pieces are Saffron and Green’, ‘Netflix and Fitzee are new Drugs’ etc.
Performance of RKK’s participants was applauded by all present.
Aastha Sancheti bagged the ‘Best Speaker’ award in ‘Inertia’.
