With the aim of promoting scientific acumen and equip the learners with 21st century learning skills like critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity, a Science Model Making Competition was organised for the students of Grade IX and X of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur.
The students made environment friendly and cost-effective models which had real life application and created awareness about various themes, namely, Conservation, Urban Planning and Architecture, Space Exploration, Biotechnology, Renewable Energy, Robotics, . The event received overwhelming response from the judges.
As many as 8 teams participated in the competition and showcased their unique models like Off Earth Foothold-Curio City, 3 D Organ Printer, Dream India, Clean India, Green India, Celestial stones-A journey through Space, Pollinating Drones, Obstacle avoiding Bot, Nuclear Power Plant, Green Grove Project-Bhutan.
The students demonstrated functioning of models in an impeccable manner and impressed the judges with their futuristic vision, innovation and exemplary explanations. It was a successful event.
