The first ever
Online IPSC Art Fest titled
“ABHYUDAYA” was organized by The Assam Valley School, Balipara, Assam from 5th to 19th August 2021 in which 63 schools from all over India participated. 24 budding artists of Class XI and XII participated and showcased their wonderful artistic skills. There was a total of 16 events:

6. Still Life
7. Design for Recycle and Reuse
8. Embroidery
9. Digital Illustration
10. Mandala
11. Nature Study
12. Mixed Media Collage

15. String Art
16. Mathematical Art
The Opening Ceremony of IPSCVAF 2021 was organized on 9th August 2021 in which 5 students from each school were allowed to join, followed by the Orientation for Mathematical Art. The Guest Speakers for the evening were Dr. Kristóf Fenyvesi from the University of Jyväskylä, Mrs Shirin Kulkarni from the Creative Education Council (CEC) Finland, Dr Pamela Burnard from the University of Cambridge, UK, Professor Pallavi Sinha from the University of Suffolk, UK, Prof Werner Olivier and Prof Carine Steyn from the Nelson Mandela University, South Africa.
The deadline to submit the artworks was 19th August 2021 by 5 pm. All the participating schools were supposed to share the students’ photograph with the artwork they had created and a time lapse video of not more than 2 minutes, showing the student doing the work presented in the festival. A brief writeup on the student’s thoughts regarding the artwork (not more than 150 words) was also to be submitted.
The results were declared on 9th September in which RKKGPS bagged 4 awards:- Embroidery- Honourable Mention was won by Kumkum Chouhan of Class XI
- Poster Design- Spotlight Award was won by Ayushi Malani of Class XII
- String Art- Honourable Mention was won by Preksha Purohit of Class XI
- Mandala- Award for Excellence was won by Mitali Dhoot of Class XI
This opportunity provided the young art enthusiasts a fabulous insight into various dynamics of art.
