19th to 21st July 2019 co-hosted by
The Doon School and the
Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun. The students got a chance to interact & discuss various leadership goals and styles with the Prefects of different schools.
The day began with a very beneficial session with Mr Mathew, Principal of The Doon School, Dehradun. He discussed on how students can better their leadership skills, efficiently deal with the situations in consideration with their responsibilities, powers and privileges. Second day came up with many team building activities enabling them to understand each other followed by a group discussion on how everything depends on perception. With the help of an activity, different problems & their solutions were discussed. Post dinner there was a Jam Session, which made this exposure a memorable one.
The Conference concluded with the final session about how to be capable enough to lead as the Captain of the school.
Going through this leadership journey, students understood explicitly that as future leaders of their schools as well as in their lives they can bring changes and leading by example is the best way of bringing change.
